2010 National Landcare Forum

A national forum for landcare and related community groups will be held at the Adelaide Racecourse (also known as Allan Scott Park), Morphettville, Adelaide, South Australia 22-25 March 2010.

The theme of the 2010 forum is ‘Landcare celebrates – 20 years of achievements and future challenges’.

The key objectives of the forum are to:

  • provide opportunities for people interested in healthy landscapes to communicate with each other
  • learn from each other
  • renew contacts and reinforce networks for sustainable natural resource management, and
  • discuss future challenges and opportunities.

The forum will be particularly relevant to people involved in:

  • community groups focussed on the environment
  • farmers and landholders
  • people interested in creating sustainable landscapes, lifestyles and livelihoods for the 21st century
  • rural, regional and urban land managers
  • indigenous land managers, and
  • research and land development agencies.

Molonglo Catchment Group

Molonglo Catchment Group The Molonglo Catchment Group works largely in NSW and covers the catchments of the Molonglo and Queanbeyan Rivers, Jerrabomberra Creek and the urban areas of inner Canberra and Queanbeyan.

Ginninderra Catchment Group

Ginninderra Catchment GroupThe Ginninderra Catchment Group works in the urban areas of Belconnen, West Belconnen, Hall, Gunghalin, and the rural areas and nature reserves of the Ginninderra Creek catchment.

Southern ACT Catchment Group

Southern ACT Catchment Group The Southern ACT Catchment Group operates in the southern areas of the ACT covering Woden, Weston Creek, Tuggeranong, Tharwa, Tidbinbilla, the Cotter Road, Namadgi National Park and related rural areas.
